Isabelle is a 12 year young, happy and energetic, Jack Russell Terrier. And if you know the breed, then you know that a 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier is just slightly less energetic than a young one. They are like the Energizer Bunnies of dog breeds.
Her perfect home will have a securely fenced in yard, as Jack Russell Terriers are prone to wander. A family willing to take her on walks would be nice to, as she loves to walk. Unfortunately, Isabelle doesn’t really like other animals or children, and isn’t very nice to them. So a home where she can be the only (fur)-baby is a must. But to make up for needing to be the only animal, she promises to make you laugh with her silly antics, and make you feel very loved.

Isabelle is already house-trained, up to date on her shots, and spayed. So basically, she’s all ready to move into her very own forever home!

Senior Dogs are Special!

And there are tons of reasons to adopt senior dogs. Such as 10 Reasons to Adopt Older Dogs. We here at The Foster Pack have a soft spot for senior shelter dogs. Old dogs are great! Senior dogs (10 years +) make up over half of our pack.. They are such sweet souls!
And tons of senior dogs spending their golden years in shelters all of the time. We want to help get them out.
So we’re going to feature a new senior shelter dog every week. And we try to find the ones who have been waiting for their forever families for the longest.
